SKIN ELASTICITY

In studies lasting 1–6 months, where doses of 2.5–5 g of collagen peptides were used, an increase in skin elasticity, smoothing of wrinkles around the eyes, reduction in cellulite visibility, and acceleration of nail growth were observed, along with reduced brittleness [1,2,3,4]. All of this is due to intensified collagen production resulting from the intake of bioactive peptides.

WRINKLE REDUCTION

Wrinkle reduction through collagen peptides was observed in a group of women aged 45–65. Effects were visible after just 4 weeks of supplementation. Another study examined changes in skin elasticity in women aged 35–55. The first effects were also observed after 4 weeks.
