What is SFD NUTRITION - Glutamine?
SFD L-GLUTAMINE is an excellent source of L-glutamine, which is one of the main amino acids that make up muscles. Glutamine is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of endogenous amino acids. A large amount of glutamine, as much as 70%, is synthesised in the body from glutamic acid and ammonia, primarily in skeletal muscles.
Only 30% of glutamine is supplied to the body with food. Glutamine is also essential for the synthesis of glutathione - a strong internal antioxidant.
How does glutamine work?
As a supplement, L-glutamine effectively replenishes its deficiencies caused by intensive training. It leads to an increase in protein synthesis, which causes an increase in muscle mass and strength. L-glutamine significantly accelerates regeneration processes, improves the immune system, concentration and response time. It plays a key role in the prevention of fatigue (relieves its symptoms) and overtraining - it lowers the level of lactic acid. Additionally, the product has been enriched with taurine.
Training days: one portion in the morning after waking up. One portion immediately after training.
